A GREETNG FROM MY WIFE
Outside my window
on my redberry Holly
a fat robin gobbles up
all the berries.
I’m sure its my wife
paying a visit, and
quickly blow her
a bunch of kisses.
I’m sorry to see you’ve
gained so much weight.
She huffs and puffs
and flies away mad.
How could I have been
so insensitive?
I never thought a robin
would care about weight.
I love her still, even if
she’s no longer the
shapely vixen she once was.
